A little something not many of you may not know about me. I love grass. Thick, green, luscious, cool grass. It feels so good to lay in the grass late on a summer day, especially in the evening. The smell of it after it rains or after it's cut. Well I just wanted to share a little of my joy with you. This spring we finally bought ourselves a little spot of grass. We finally took our overgrown old yard and made it a lush new one. It's my favorite kind too! Thick, plush, and emerald green. You can't imagine how nice it feels under my toes!
So now that we have our own patch of heaven, we'd love to share! Feel free to stop by to lay in the grass anytime!

Most excellent grass! We had to use red fescue grass up here and well, its green (in places) but not quite lush. It looks wonderful and will lay on it next month.
Can't wait to sink my bare feet into it, hope Corbou doesn't spot it too fast; we know all about sitting in "mushy grass" as now we own a dog.
