way back in July the event that our summer was centered around occurred. Grace was baptized.
this is the crowning jewel of our summer experience. I am honored to be the mother of the newest member (in our family) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. what an experience it was to watch Grace enthusiastically take on the responsibility of what being baptized and confirmed brings. and she was honored by our family in the best possible way. she was thrilled to be surrounded by most of our extended family, many of whom traveled to witness her choice and display her testimony. her day, although not unblemished, was near perfect. I mean what beats being clean (she got to get dunnked twice!) and then playing all day long with ALL of your favorite cousins? truly this day was the cherry on top of a fun filled summer.
Grace herself is a jewel. her light shines brightly and fervently as her testimony grows. she is such a joy to have in our home, so talented and sweet. we are truly the lucky parents of an amazing daughter of our Heavenly Father.
Happy Baptism Day Grace, we love you. and are enjoying as we watch you grow into such a lovely lady.

we had that same blessed event in our home too last month. Nothing beats a "clean" child...they sparkle and I love every second of it.

so not surprised that Grace is a great girl making great choices. She has great parents and great sisters who love her and care for her
